Every listing on Subletly goes through a review process before it can be published. This helps protect both hosts and guests by ensuring all listings meet our quality and safety standards. Our team manually reviews each listing to verify the information is accurate and complete.
Review Timeline
Most listings are reviewed within 24-48 hours of submission. During busy periods, it may take up to 72 hours.
You'll receive an email notification when your listing is approved or if changes are needed.
What We Check
Our review team evaluates each listing across four key areas:
Photos
Clear, well-lit photos that accurately represent the space. No stock photos or misleading images.
Description
Complete, accurate information with no misleading details or exaggerated claims.
Pricing
Fair market rate pricing with no hidden fees or unexpected charges.
Compliance
Legal requirements met, including landlord consent confirmation where applicable.
Status Meanings
Your listing will have one of these statuses throughout its lifecycle:

| Draft | Your listing is saved but not yet submitted for review. You can continue editing. |
| Under Review | Your listing is being reviewed by our team. This typically takes 24-48 hours. |
| Verified | Your listing passed review and is ready to be published. Click "Publish" to go live. |
| Changes Needed | Issues were found during review. Check your email for details on what to fix. |
| Published | Your listing is live and visible to guests searching on Subletly. |
| Unpublished | You've hidden your listing. It won't appear in search but can be republished anytime. |
